Project RPG Now Known As ‘Lord Of The Fallen’

A few months ago, the senior producer of the Witcher 2; Tomasz Gop and City Interactive announced that they are working on a role playing game, simply titled as ‘Project RPG’. Recently, a NeoGAF user found out the name of this game on their LinkedIn profile as ‘Lord of the Fallen’, along with a few other details about it.

The game is set 1,000 years after the death of a God, whose body has turned into a mountain, which splits the world into two sides; each with their own philosophy. The player will be allying with one of the sides, early in the game. The combat will be deep, but easy to learn and may be similar to that of Darksouls, Batman Arkham City and EA’s latest RPG; Kingdom of Amalur. There will be additional features as well, after you have completed the game.

The full details which were listed in the LinkedIn profile are as follows.

Action-RPG title is set within a medieval fantasy world ruled by a Fallen God. Fighting against the formidable Lords and Generals that command his demonic army is one of game’s strongest features. LORD of the FALLEN rewards skill and persistence among hardcore Action-RPG fans; it presents players with great challenges followed by greater rewards and satisfaction. The story plot and twists allow approaching the conflict between humans and demons from various perspectives (More info, later this year).

The game is expected to be released in 2013 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Windows platforms.
