Amazon begins Kinect for Xbox 360 pre-order sales

Kinect for Xbox 360 pre-order salesCongratulations to all XBox 360 fans, Amazon.com the world’s largest online store has begun taking pre orders for Kinect for Microsoft Xbox 360 from this week. The pre oreder price of Kinect will be $149.99 for US customers.

Titles available at Amazon will include Xbox 360 120GB Elite Spring 2010 Bundle, Kinect Sports, Kinect Joy Ride, Kinect Adventures! Etc.

According to the latest report The Xbox 360 250GB Elite Console is also available at this online store. It features a brand new, leaner machine in a black gloss finish with built-in Wi-Fi for the first time. The price for this item will be around $299.99 and it will be shipped for FREE with Super Saver Shipping.

The Kinect hardware, which was formerly dubbed as Project Natal, is a slim bar that will sit near a television to sense player movement and sound.

Menu navigation demonstrations will include facial recognition to auto-login to Xbox Live and waving through menu screens.

Microsoft is planing to offer Kinect controls to win the battle with Nintendo Co.’s Wii, which has already sold 71 million units globally because of its easy-to-entry, motion-sensitive controller.

In May, it started selling the Xbox 360 Arcade Spring 2010 hardware online at $199.99.
