Windows Phone Marketplace Stops Publishing New Apps

Windows Phone MarketplaceMicrosoft has stopped publishing new apps for windows phone. Reports suggest failure of some users to download or update apps from their windows phone has prompted this. This has been going on for past several days. Of late, Microsoft is concerned about the fact and in order to find a remedy they have stopped publishing new apps.

The company said that the issue is concerned mainly with the digital certificate used while signing up and that is preventing some windows phone from installing apps.

A Microsoft query unveiled that this issue affects only the phones that are upgraded to windows 7.5 from a previous version of the windows operating system. In a Windows Phone blog post, Microsoft’s director program management Mazhar Mohammed said that, phones which are purchased with operating system windows 7.5 are not facing this problem.

Mazhar further added that the company is concerned with the issue and is planning to fix the problem as soon as possible.
