Android Tablets From HP Soon

Android Tablets From HP Hewlett-Packard going through tough times, that’s an irony to most people. But it is a fact that the company in its last quarter earning report showed a 7% year on year profit drop. Although lion’s share of the loss accounts for the $8.8 billion the company had taken for autonomy acquisition purposes, bit still as the PC market is seeing a slow shrinkage due to rapid growth of portable devices, HP’s future won’t be a bed of roses.

In an effort to evolve through the tough times the tech giant intends to make a comeback with its own lineup of mobile devices. According to news reports from ReadWrite, development of an Android tablet from HP is in progress. The tablet will use NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor.

Also hints from HP CEO, Meg Whitman suggest that that the company might contribute to the smart phone industry in near future. She said that HP doesn’t have any smart phone for 2013 adding consumers would have to wait more.

In the past, HP’s investment in the mobile world saw only failure. Its WebOS based TouchPad tablets and smart phones failed to attract consumer’s attention and HP left the business altogether. But the Android revolution has again forced HP to give the tablets a second thought.
