LG’s New Smartphone Optimus G Pro Unveiled

LG Optimus G Pro Yesterday, officially LG showcased the new Optimus G Pro, a smart phone with a 5.5 inch screen scheduled to debut at the ‘Mobile World Congress’.

The 5.5 inch screen will feature a Full HD IPS display delivering 1920*1080 pixels along with 400 ppi. For recording Full HD videos it has a 13 megapixel camera on the back and a 2.1 megapixel camera on the front for video chatting. According to LG, the phone’s 3,140 mAh battery can power the phone for hours to support Full HD video streaming.

Google’s Android Jelly Bean (4.1.2) will run the Optimus G Pro with the assistance of a 1.7 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor. Also the Optimus G Pro comes with an RAM of 2 GB and a storage of 32 GB.

Some cool new features include a Dual Recording option which allows the phone to capture videos with both cameras at the same time. Also with ‘Virtual Reality Panorama’ you can capture 360 degree photos. You’ll find other features from the Optimus G such as- QSlide, Live Zooming and QuickMemo.

The device will first be released under SK Telecom, LG Uplus and KT in South Korea before hitting the markets of North America and Japan.
