Google Chromebook With TouchYesterday, Google introduced the latest laptop of its Chromebook lineup, named Pixel.

You can place pre-order for this web-centric laptop via Google Play and soon the device will go on sale at BestBuy.com. The Wi-Fi version with 32 GB storage will start shipping by next week and will cost you $1,299. And the LTE version offering 64 GB storage is price tagged at $1,449 and will be available in April.

Tech savvy people of the U.K can also have their devices bought for £1,049 via Google Play and also Currys PC World.

The Pixel has lived up to its name offering a 12.85 inch screen with 2560*1700 resolution display ensuring 239 ppi, the highest pixel density any laptop can offer on the market. Linus Upson, Google’s vice president of product engineering stated that the Pixel comes with a display boasting 4.3 million pixels, ensuring vivid colors, sharp text and wide viewing angles.

The laptop uses a 1.8 GHz Intel Core i5 processor, 4 GB of RAM. For graphics tool there is an Intel HD Graphics 4000 card. The promised battery life lasts 5 years. There are two USB 2.0 ports, a card reader supporting both SD and MMC, Bluetooth 3.0 along with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n 2×2 (dual band).
