Just a few days ago, Acer introduced its first Android powered display device coded DA220HQL. The device is being showcased at the MWC 2013.
The DA220HQL display offers Full HD 1080p resolution with a screen measured at 21.5 inch. A 1GHz dual core TI OMAP 4428 processor assisted with RAM of 1GB runs the nifty device. The display has a MicroSD slot supporting extended memory up to 32 GB. For making video calls, on the front there is a 1.2 megapixel camera. The display features multiple connectivity options including 3 USB ports, Ethernet jack and Micro HDMI port.
When it comes to looks, the DA220HQL Smart display has a narrow bezel. But the device doesn’t reflect any touch of pure designing.
When released, the Acer DA220HQL display will face tough competition against ViewSonic’s Android based smart VSD240 display.
According to the tech magazine, Engadget, the DA220HQL Smart display will hit Europe’s markets from March 2013, price tagged at 399 Euros.
Recently, at the CES 2013, Acer had launched the Iconia B1-A71 tablet. The Taiwanese tech titan later released a 16 GB version of the Iconia B1-A71 tablet costing 139 Euros. The device is selling in the Middle East, Europe and Africa.
