Asus PadFone Infinity: Phone Turned Tablet

Samsung is cashing on this theory with its Galaxy Note lineup. The latest extension based on this concept is Asus’ PadFone Infinity. The PadFone Infinity bundle includes an Android phone and a phone dock harboring the Android smart phone. For those who want to enjoy an 10 inch tablet and use their phone at the same time, the PadFone Infinity would be a great match.

As an Android smart phone, the PadFone Infinity is of premium quality. The LTE phone offers a Full HD 5 inch screen boasting resolution up to 1920 * 1080 both on the phone mode and tablet mode. Packed with a 1.7 GHz quad core Snapdragon 600 processor, the PadFone Infinity performs strong on the 10.1 inch tablet mode. Standard features include Android 4.2, LTE connectivity and 64 GB storage. Asus claims that on 3G network, the battery inside can run 19 hour talk time. The phone dock comes with its own battery pack. The rear 13 megapixel shooter, at 8fps, can capture 100 sequential photos while simultaneously shooting 1080p videos.

The whole bundle is priced at 999 Euro. Early launching plans include only Taiwan.
