Nokia Confident about the Success of Lumia and Asha Products

Stephen Elop, executive vice president of Devices and Services at Nokia, claims that through the range of Lumia and Asha products, the Finnish firm is delivering industry-leading imaging innovating, design and quality at extremely affordable prices. He is immensely confident about the success of these upcoming devices and feels that Nokia continues to evolve with the passage of time, with an improved app experience.

Nokia introduced six latest mobile devices in Abu Dhabi in October, including two large screen Lumia smartphones, Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet and three Asha models.

While the most important thing about the smartphones is their extremely affordable prices, the Lumia 2520 is expected to give tough competition to iPad and Windows Surfaces. The tablet possesses a 10.1-inch high definition screen and a 6.7MP camera.

The Lumia 500 and 503 are not up to the standards of iPhones or some high-quality and expensive Android devices; however, they possess all the fundamental features of a smartphone and are priced at $66 and $99 respectively. Over the years, smartphones have remained out of the reach of middle or lower-middle classes but the introduction of these devices will mean that a greater number of people will now have their hands on smartphones.
