Apple To Release Curved-Screen iPhone Next Year

Apple is working on an iPhone to bring out a new design that will have bigger and curved-glass screens, Bloomberg reported.

According to anonymous sources, Apple Inc., the third-largest cell phone maker in the world, is currently increasing the iPhone’s screen size to 4.7 and 5.5 inches respectively, both models expected to be released in the latter half of the next year. Both of these models are expected to have screens that will curve down towards the edges, and will supposedly be more touch-sensitive. With that screen size, iPhone can rival its counterpart – the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 – which has a huge 5.7 inch display.

The curved-glass technology has become a recent trend among Smartphones, ever since Samsung released its Galaxy Round last month. Reports suggest that LG is also set to launch its curved-glass technology phone in UK next month, which has a screen that curves from top to bottom.

Sources claim that the subsequent iPhone models will have better touch-screen sensitivity that will be able to detect varying levels of pressure. This will come as a good news, especially for those who use drawing and handwriting applications on the iPhone.
