The iPad Air model has been priced at 35,900 Indian Rupees; whereas, the iPad mini will be available for potential customers for 28,900 Rupees. However, the technology giant is yet to release the prices of the 32, 64 and 128 GB as well as the 4G-enabled versions of the two tablets.
As compared to the iPad 4, which was launched last year, the iPad Air is a lot lighter and thinner with smaller bezels. One of the best features of the tablets is that it possesses a 9.7-inch retina display screen. As per the claims of the manufacturer, the iPad Air is the thinnest-ever full-sized tablet of the world.
It needs to be mentioned that Google has recently introduced the second generation Nexus 7 tablet in India and experts believe that it could have been one of the factors behind Apple’s decision to move towards the Indian audience. The Google Nexus 7 is priced at just 20,999 Rupees, which is a lot less than the Apple’s devices.
