Nokia Tablet PC Powered By MeeGo Platform To Be Launched in November

Nokia Tablet PCAfter the glorious success of Apple iPad, the latest buzz that is going around is the leading cellphone manufacturer Nokia seems to join the parade of tablet PC. This year at the 4th quarter they will introduce the MeeGo-powered ARM-based tablet PC manufactured by Foxconn.  Nokia, which has been best known for their cellphones came into this new venture of making portable internet devices and they have already produced around 100 tablet prototypes for the developers in the expectation of having an iPad-like touchscreen device ready for sale this year.

As per the current report the Tablet will be pitched to Nokia’s telecom partners for retail, but till now there is no news on the price of the device, though it is expected to arrive in the fourth quarter this year. In a recent Russian media event this Intel-powered tablet was showed off running on Nokia’s Meego operating System. So till then we will be looking forward to see the latest addition to the iPad core.
