Nokia Files Lawsuit Against Apple: Claims $1.36 Billion

Nokia Vs Apple lawsuit

Perhaps it has become a modern trend to sue the rival companies every other day. So Nokia without pretending to be the exceptional one has filed a lawsuit against Apple. Not only once or even twice, but this is the third lawsuit, as earlier Nokia has filed one more suit against Apple, claiming that the company has violated the law by pirating five of its patents.

Nokia has alleged that the Apple iPad 3G infringes its exclusive rights due to the fact that the patents relate to technologies for higher speech and data transmission, using positioning data in applications and improvements in antenna configurations for better performance and saving space, allowing lesser and more compact devices.

The new complaint was filed by Nokia with the Federal District Court in the Western District of Wisconsin, U.S.

If all this goes down and is established in court that Apple did undeniably infringe on Nokia’s patents, Nokia will be getting around $1.36 billion. This new lawsuit was filed with the Federal District Court in the Western District of Wisconsin by Nokia.
