To take photos using 3D Panoroma Mode, the user has to simply press the shutter button and move the camera in the required direction. The Sony Nex-5 and Nex-3 shoots a series of frames which automatically sync together to form a Panoromic image.

But if you want to view the image in the actual 3 dimensional form, you need to connect the camera to a 3D TV. The firmware update also brought some more features and performance upgrades to the camera. But mostly they are less significant than this 3D Panoroma Mode.

The Sony Nex-5 comes with 14.2 Mega Pixel Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor. Sony Nex-5 is capable of capturing HD Videos at 1080p and these 3D features are only going to spice up the camera’s appeal.
