Google Mail Gets Rich Text Signatures

Google Mail (Gmail) finally gets one of the most wanted feature – Rich Text Signatures. Officially announcing this in Gmail Blog, Google made a good look into people’s suggestions.

This feature was wanted by different users for a number of reasons as they tried in vain to avail this using Grease monkey script[Firefox Users], Plugins[Google Chrome Users]. Given image above represents what you can do with this new rich text signatures.

In order to customize the settings for this, Go to your Settings Page in Gmail, scroll down the General settings and see the difference in your signature box. You can add interactive text, images, use different colors and lots more using this new interface.

As usual, you can also leave it simple to have no signature. Another important feature this brings is the unique signature selection for each email address you want to send an email to. Also this feature is currently not available for HTML version and Mobile users. Google is hearing useful suggestions as usual!
