Facemail is the new rumored email service from Facebook which is already rolled to a few users in the form of invites. This so called Facemail or Facebook Mail is not a Gmail Killer, but is surely going to make an impact. Project Titan being the code name for this Facemail project will allow users to have a @fb.com email address. Despite considering this as a speculation, analysts feel that this might be the way for Zuckerburg to move forward in dominating Online market.
When you take a look at Facebook’s messages page it says a lot about this rumor. Actually, it isn’t a rumor now. Insider sources say that this feature will be available to few by today and the remaining in the form of invites. Facebook has 550 Million Users who could taste this feature when its available to all. More over, Facebook has the best products like Photos, Videos, Social Networking and a chat which can be integrated into this Facemail.
Having said all these, Gmail is not going to die. But it might lose out on a few users which it should try to retain with more customizable features.
