With more than 40 million downloads through its year-long pre-release time, Microsoft’s most-downloaded browser beta of all time was IE 9. At the moment the software giant is expecting the final release will be able to reverse IE’s years-long usage share slide.

Microsoft corporate vice president Dean Hachamovitch stated in a public announcement that, Internet Explorer 9 has been proven to offer the best web browsing experience. Nowadays the web has become so advanced that it can unlock the power and performance of the first-rate PC hardware with the help of Windows and Internet Explorer 9. Websites also can perform more like applications within Windows 7, with the features like Pinned Sites. Though makers of Firefox are claiming that IE 9 has got nothing noteworthy features over the competition, Microsoft asserts that its combination with Windows, along with Windows 7 features and hardware acceleration, is a massive gain.
