Nokia Debutes First Touchscreen Handset In India

For the first time Nokia has unveiled the ‘Touch and Type’ smartphones with the launch of Nokia X3-02 and C3-01 handsets.

During the official announcement in the Valley, Yogesh Roy, NSM, claimed that Nokia’s newest offering to consumers was that of ‘best of both the worlds’, since the handsets have both touchscreen and keypad.

He also said, “The two new Touch and Type devices by Nokia are designed for those who like to stay connected and share experience with their social group,”

Moreover, Nokia X3-02 is 3G-enabled device and has sports music and messaging keys. Its slick design looks quite impressive and it merely 9.6 MM in thick making it one of the slimmest Nokia handset.
The mobile phone is operated by Nokia S40 OS and features a 5-megapixel camera or wonderful photographic quality.

The Nokia C2-01 will be available at Rs 16,490 and X3-02 is priced at Rs 14,960, the company said.
