Apple To Launch Updated Version Of MobileMe Next Month

Apple Mobile MeToday, news has been revealed that Apple sent an email to its suppliers, telling them that the company will stop selling MobileMe subscriptions in future.

iLounge has published the news where they wrote, Apple is soon to launch a major update of its MobileMe service, which will incorporate new facilities such as online storage.

The existing service provides the capability to store calendar and contacts details which costs $99. The updated service would offer much more than that. For example, the users will be allowed to control Apple’s cloud in order to store their own files within a personal locker. Most notably, the new service will be available absolutely free.

The latest version of MobileMe will probably bring music, photos, and video storage services. Furthermore, the iOS 5 users will be able to combine their devices with the cloud. The new service is expected to be announced at a media event during late April, at Apple’s headquarters, along with iOS 5.
