HTC EVO 3D May Arrive In June: Price Not Confirmed Yet

HTC EVO 3D release, HTC EVO 3D priceIf you are keenly waiting for the release of HTC EVO 3D in the coming days, then keep patience since Sprint and HTC haven’t yet announced the expected release date for the HTC EVO 3D. But speculations are running high and people are saying the upcoming hnadset will most probably hit the stores around June. Supposedly the HTC EVO 3D will emerge as potential rival to Apple iPhone. We have got some idea about the specifications of the device from other sources.

The Evo will most probably include a 4.3 inch qHD 960×450 pixel Autostereoscopic 3D display and it will be running on 1.2 GHz dual core Snapdragon processor.

The most amazing feature of the smartphone is it will be equipped with a dual-core Android along with a qHD no-glasses 3D display giving a big challenge to iphone. There is no official announcement on pricing of HTC EVO, but we can look at getting our hands on it sometime in this summer.

I appreciate a silly photoshop just as much as the next guy, but I have to say that the 3D glasses superimposed on the image above is rather misleading. It gives the impression that 3D glasses are required to view 3D images on this particular screen, when in fact no glasses of any kind are needed; the screen is auto-stereoscopic.

Thanks for your consideration. Great article, just not too happy about the picture used.

    Hi Eddie,
I can understand your concerns. Yes, the image might be misleading. But there was a need to show that the device had a 3D screen. And we couldn’t get a better picture to compensate the requirement.
We hope that glitches like this won’t happen in our future coverage!

So the article says: “The Evo will most probably include a 4.3 inch qHD 960×450 pixel Autostereoscopic 3D display and it will be running on 1.2 GHz dual core”

These specs are confirmed and were announced by Sprint this Tuesday. Dual-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon, 4.3″ qHD 960×540 autostereoscopic screen, 1GB RAM, 4GB ROM. (I guess my suggestion would be to remove “most probably” from the article as it’s not a question at this point.)

A good photo would have been the an
droid jumping out of the screen

  5. Justin says:

Will this one include a kickstand like the other Evo?

  6. nutzter says:

No kickstand on this one lol but is ,ok never used the one on my Evo anyway lol ,now can we leave the iPhone out of the picture cause I know there are a lot of iPhone lovers out there but lets stop the bullcrap right here, the iPhone 4 cannot touch the Evo 3d ,not only because of the 3d ….the dual core processor is enough to take the iPhone out, and the iPhone app store is not gonna be enough to save it ….thank you …an x iPhone fan….

  7. KJ says:

@Eddie – You’re an Idiot. Stop acting like a little Bitch.

@Justin – No, but there will be a case with a kickstand.
