New Line Of Android 3.0 Tablets Unveiled in Taiwan

Taiwan android tabletA range of new Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) tablets are going to be launched in Taiwan market. VR-Zone is reporting the launch of several Android 3.0 tablets in the Taiwan market. This week a local exhibition has been arranged where numerous products powered by NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 platform are put on display. Two of the major tablet devices, the ASUS Eee Pad and the Acer Iconia Tab A500 were shown in the exhibition. The ASUS Eee Pad Transformer 32GB model is available at around $583 (Rs. 26,235) whereas the Acer Iconia Tab is selling for around $628 (Rs. 28,260).

Apart from ASUS and Acer tablets, Viewsonic presented its 10.1-inch Viewpad 10s which is also is powered by Tegra 2 and runs an older Android 2.2 OS. It is comparatively cheaper than the previous brands as its price has been set at $445 (Rs. 20,000) only. Evidently, manufacturers are charging higher price for the new range of tablets powered by faster processors.
