AT&T And LG Together Brings LG Thrive – Android Smartphone

LG Thrive releaseAT&T and LG have released the latest smartphone LG Thrive, which is the first Android smartphone to be offered as part of AT&T’s GoPhone prepaid plan.

LG Thrive is a 3.2-inch large device which is equipped with a 3.2-megapixel camera plus autofocus. The handset sports Wi-Fi connectivity, HSDPA and 160 MB of memory which can be expanded up to 32 GB using SD memory cards. The device is powered by Android 2.2, and even as it cannot rival with the top Android phones like the Motorola Atrix or Samsung Galaxy S, it is still the most powerful device on the GoPhone plan.

Customers who opt for the Smartphone 10 cents per minute contarct or Smartphone $2 per day unlimited talk and text plan can choose one of the following data plan options which are $5 for 10 MB, $15 for 10 MB and $25 for 500 MB.

The device will be available $179.99 and it will probably hit the stores on April 17.
