Google Plans To Introduce Music Streaming Service Very Soon

Google music streamingGoogle has planned to unveil its long-awaited service that allows users to upload and store their music collections on the Web and enjoy listening to their favorite songs on Android based smartphones or tablet devices as well as on computers.

The official announcement of their upcoming cloud-based music player, is scheduled to be made on Tuesday at Google I/O, the developers conference of the company, which will take place through Wednesday.

The service, will be named as Music Beta by Google, and it is just like the one introduced by Amazon in March, although it is capable of storing significantly more music. And similar to Amazon, Google also does not have the support of music labels, hence people cannot perform certain things that would require authorizations, for example sharing songs with friends or buying songs from Google.

But Google’s announcement of the launch of this Music Streaming service at this time was totally unexpected since it has been negotiating with the music labels for several months in order to make a deal to associate with them on a cloud music service.
