Semp Toshiba Launches New Android Tablet myPad- Price $1399

myPadToshiba brings a new tablet called myPad. myPad of Semp Toshibais an Android based device and it costs $1399.

This is the first tablet device launched by Semp Toshiba which has gone on sale at various retail stores in two versions. The earlier comes with only a Wi-Fi for Internet access and priced at only $1,399. The second one is also equipped with 3G cellular network access and available at retail price of $1,699.

MyPad boasts a 10.1 inches wide screen. The main difference between an iPad and myPad is a USB port that is used in myPad for connecting accessories along with an HDMI output that enables video playing in high resolution on a TV connected by a cable. It is supports the standard Flash technology including Adobe which is widely used on the web but they are incompatible with the iPad.

The tablet device is based on the Android 2.2. Though it’s the main competitors are equipped with Android 3.0 Honeycomb, it is certainly one of the downside of this tablet since it lacks the latest version of the operating system.
