Droid Charge Available from Verizon Wireless:Price $300

Samsung Droid ChargeToday Verizon Wireless released the Droid Charge handset by Samsung, which is the carrier’s second 4G LTE smartphone and powered by Android 2.2. Droid Charge is the world’s first smartphones featuring Super AMOLED Plus display technology, popularly known as the type of screen performance that users want to experience directly to see the full effect of. If you are staying in a sunny place with 4G LTE coverage, the Droid Charge offers just what you’re looking for. 

Earlier this moth when we reviewed Droid Charge and ATRIX 4G simultaneously, it observed that the Motorola ATRIX 4G is offering a superior overall performance. Certainly, the latter handset is an AT&T exclusive, so Verizon subscribers mainly have to pick between the Droid Charge and HTC Thunderbolt when it comes to 4G handsets. 

The Droid Charge is available at $300 with a new two-year contract from Verizon Wireless, and the price is $50 more than the HTC Thunderbolt.
