Rumor Suggests Apple iPhone To Be Running On Sprint Network Carrier

iphone 4, sprintA new job posting from Apple gives a clear indication of a probable growing relationship with Sprint that may carry the iPhone to one of the leading network carriers in 4G technology. Stop it, AT&T, a blog focuses on “activism against bandwidth caps and monopolistic behavior,” has revealed a job posting that may support previous buzz that Sprint is very close to have an iPhone running on its network.

The job posting is intended for a new member for Apple’s Carrier Engineering team, and it reads as follows

“day-to-day technical interactions with the one or more carriers to track down issues reported by the carrier, assist the carrier with testing they might be conducting and working with program management, software development and test teams to get products approved by the carriers.”

That alone does not support the rumor to the Sprint connection, but Sprint network carrier is based outside Kansas City, Miss., where the job was posted as being located.

There is no sign if the iPhone would be available on Sprint this year or if it would be 4G.
