Motorola & Verizon Soon To Bring Droid X2: Price $199

After several months of speculation, Verizon and Motorola at last put an end to the buzz, as they officially announced the Droid X2 to be released on May 26, with pre-order sale starting from May 19 onwards.

Droid X2 will begin with the Android 2.2 though it is little outdated, but can be later upgraded to version 2.3. The handset will be coming with a dual-core 1 GHz CPU, along with a 4.3-inch scratch-resistant screen, anti-reflective qHD display in addition to an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus and HD video recording facility.

The smartphone also comprises of HDMI and Wi-Fi connectivity as well as Mobile Hotspot, which enables the users to share their 3G connection with up to five Wi-Fi-capable devices.

As per the acquired information Droid X2 will be priced at $199 with a new two-year customer contract.
