Gingerbread Update for Motorola Devices Will Fix Up Exchange Activesync Issues

gingerbread upgrade and motorolaAccording to the grapevine, some Droid Pro and Droid 2 Global users are facing trouble with corporate sync and have posted their queries in the Motorola Support forums for help. In one of such forums a Motorola employee to deal with the current issues with Exchange Activesync, commented that the trouble will be solved with the impending Gingerbread update for both these handsets. He also confirmed that the Droid X will be integrated as well.

Considering how the Droid X software testing program was made accessible for some users, they might be the first to get the 2.3 update sometime by the end of the second quarter. This will be applicable for the Droid 2/Global and Pro devices as well. According to Droid-Life, they have said that Motorola has all but accomplished their Gingerbread builds for all these devices and is just waiting on confirmation from Verizon to approve and set them free.
