Upcoming iPad 3 May Feature Samsung’s AMOLED Screens

Apple ipad 3Rumor is the upcoming iPad 3 will perhaps sport a Samsung-made AMOLED screen, and Apple is having a discussion with Samsung executives on the matter.

The rumors surfaced when Apple’s chief operating officer Tim Cook, made a short trip on a plane to South Korea last week to meet Samsung to offer “an advance” for the displays, with an aim to launch the iPad 3 during the end of this year.

This unrevealed “advance” is apparently planned to ensure capacity of Samsung’s preferred AMOLED screens.

This higher-resolution screen was among the most talked about features that remained unsuccessful to show up on the iPad 2, with most rumors indicating to a high-resolution Retina Display similar to that of the iPhone 4.

As a substitute, the iPad 2 launched with the identical IPS LCD display that was incorporated in the first gen slate; undoubtedly Apple is now very much eager to make a modification for the next generation.
