Apple May Launch Both iPhone 5 And iPad 3 This Fall

Experts are anticipating that both the iPhone 5 and iPad 3 could make their arrival in September. In a news website a report has been published saying, several component suppliers in Apple’s supply chain are preparing to start manufacture on these devices very soon. Quoting “industry sources,” DigiTimes reports the iPad 3 and the iPhone 5 will be released in September and will hit stores in October.

Although there has been rumor that Apple would unveil both a smaller iPhone 4S in addition to the iPhone 5, where as DigiTimes claims Apple will only launch one model of the smartphone this fall. It also claims that the iPad 3 was newly added to the production schedule. For both the third-gen iPad and the fifth-gen iPhone, Apple will manufacture “small volumes in August,” only to raise production in September and August.

In the report, DigiTimes specifies the names of some different component suppliers including Foxconn, which handles assembly; Simplo Technologies and Dynapack International Technology, the firms that manufacture batteries.
