HTC Planning To Launch 10-inch Android Tablet Puccini On AT&T LTE

Android Tablet Puccini An FCC filing from HTC discloses that the previously rumored 10-inch Puccini tablet is set to be launched on AT&T 4G network.

The model has been scheduled as “Tablet Computer PG09410” with FCC. The filing also reveals that the tablet will be coming with LTE support and will be available on AT&T‘s upcoming 4G network. Moreover, it has been reported that the MPR settings on the upcoming device are within 3GPP tolerance.

The 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) is an industry group which termed the technology “Long Term Evolution” or LTE since it represents the next step (4G) in a advancement from GSM, a 2G standard, to UMTS, the 3G technologies based upon GSM while 3GPP2 is a association to set 3G standards for CDMA-based networks. Therefore with 3GPP tolerance cited it is expected that it’s for AT&T GSM network instead of CDMA Verizon.

Previous reports had told that HTC roadmap for tablets takes in the release of two 10-inch tablets in summer. HTC Puccini is publicized to sport a dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm MSM8660 processor and is anticipated to run on Android 3.0.1 or Honeycomb.
