Droid Bionic Will Hit The Stores In September

Motorola  Droid Bionic  The CEO of the Motorola Mobility – Sanjay Jha confirmed that Motorola’s long-awaited smartphone Droid Bionic will hit the stores in September. Interested customers have to wait once again as the phone has been delayed several times since its first show-off at CES 2011. Sanjay Jha disclosed the release date of Droid Bionic during a conference call on report earnings.

According to the Sanjay Jha, the redesigned phone will be 4G and features TI OMAP 1.2 GHz processor. Motorola is working on couple of 4G phones as well to launch them later this year, one of the phones will be 10-inch in size while other will be smaller than 10-inch.

Motorola Xoom tablet (upgraded) with 4G connectivity to tweak the 4G radio connection will also be released in September. Motorola’ official statement states that company sold 440,000 Xoom tablets and 4.4 million smartphones in its second quarter.

    Its NOT a NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core 1GHz processor, it will be a TI OMAP 1.2 GHz processor.

    You say that Motorola is going to release some new phones in 2011. One 10″ and some smaller. You meant tablets right.
