HTC Is Set To Transport 13.5 Million Handsets During Q3

HTC smartphonesHTC recently announces that the company has plans to ship around 13.5 million handsets during the third quarter of 2011 having observed the record figures for Q2.

Shipping 12.2 million smartphones in second quarter, and it is only 4.5 handsets less than Nokia, previously the highest handset distributor in the world, HTC claims its desire to continue the speedy growth and post the massive Q3 figures that would hit a 98 per cent year-on-year growth rate.


After the being the top maker for shipping high-end Android handsets, HTC has now discovered 30 per cent of its product sales made up from its series of Windows Phone 7 touting devices, a collection that will be expanded in the coming weeks with a mooted 12-megaxpiel camera boasting smartphone preparing to land next to the WP7 Mango update.


HTC’s huge sales are set to be determined by its latest flagship handset the 1.2GHz dual-core HTC Sensation in addition to its first 3D capable device the HTC EVO 3D.
