iCloud.com Beta Goes Live For The Developers

iCloud.comApple launched the iCloud.com website that is now available for the developers, as a beta version of the service. The website is now live, and looks like very similar to Me.com as most of the elements are same, but the new website has much richer interface that allows the visitors to see their contacts, web email, visitors can also view and edit calendar events and iCloud for Pages. Access to Find My iPhone and iWork tool is also available in this site.

The web front end of the iCloud allows full access to only those visitors who registered as developers, as they have already full authority to test builds of Lion and iOS 5 that can link with the iCloud service.

Apple’s iCloud service offers free 5GB of storage for the first time, but members can also upgrade their accounts to avail more storage space from one of the following options:

  • 10 GB for $20/year (Total of 15 GB)
  • 20 GB for $40/year (Total of 25 GB)
  • 50 GB for $100/year (Total of 55 GB)
