Apple Release New HTML5 Tool – Edge To Replace Flash

Adobe EdgeAdobe Systems especially known for its Flash software that used to run the online applications like videos on the YouTube, has released a new application known as Adobe Edge that will be used to replace Flash. The new tool allow the web developers to online animated web content using the HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, which will run without Flash.

A public preview version of the Edge is available for developers as a freeware on the Adobe Labs site, anyone can download it and use it as long as application stays in a preview state. At the moment Adobe is looking to get the feedback from the testers to address shortcomings in the tool, the final version will be available in next year.

At the time Apple’s devices do not display Flash animations at all. Therefore, this tool might help the iPhone and iPad users to watch the animated videos on their iOS devices without using the Flash.
