Five New Antitrust Complaints Are Added In EU Against Google

GoogleAccording to the Reuters, Google is now facing nine formal antitrust complaints in European Union. The two sources who want to remain anonymous because of the sensitivity of the matter shared this news with the Reuters. The new complaints against Google are initiated by the small companies.

“The Commission has nine formal complaints now. The new complaints come from small companies,” said one of the sources.

Google is already under investigation in four cases by the commission in the European Union, but the new five complaints against search giant makes it nine, three of these complaints came from national antitrust regulators, while other two fresh complaints were made directly to the Brussels-based EU agency.

If commission found Google guilty for breaching EU rules, then commission can fine Google up to 10% of its global turnover by utilizing his authority.
