Gmail Phone Calling Now Available In 38 Countries

Gmail Phone Calling Google has announced that its Voice-based Gmail calling service is now available in most of the world with 38 new languages that allow Gmail users to make calls on the mobile phones and landlines. Google launched this service last year in the United States to make free domestic calls and low-cost international calls by using the voice and video plug-in.

Google also added four currencies to buy the calling credits, these currencies are: US Dollars, Canadian Dollars, British Pounds, and Euros. Google also lowering its calling rates to over 150 destinations.

In a recent blogpost at The Official Google Blog, Pierre Lebeau – the Product Manager of Gmail Team says: “It’s now only $0.10 (or €0.08) per minute to call mobile phones in the U.K., France or Germany (landlines are $0.02/min), $0.15/minute to call mobile phones in Mexico and $0.02/min to call any phone number in China and India.”

This service will be available in the next few days, users can identify the availability of the service by seeing a little green phone icon at the top of their chat list. If available, you can make calls after installing the voice and video plug-in.
