Skype Video Calling Is Now Compatible With 17 More Android Devices

Skype Android AppSkype has released version of their Android app that adds more smartphones to utilize video calling facility. The new updated version hardly has some changes, except the addition of 17 new devices with the video calling support.

At start the Skype’s Android app was only compatible with following four models:

  • Samsung Google Nexus S
  • Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo
  • Xperia pro
  • HTC Desire S

With the release of the latest updated version, following devices can utilize the video calling service too:

  • Samsung Galaxy S II
  • Samsung Galaxy S
  • Samsung Droid Charge – Verizon
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab
  • HTC Desire (2.2)
  • HTC Thunderbolt – Verizon
  • HTC Sensation
  • HTC Evo 4G
  • HTC Evo 3D
  • HTC Incredible S
  • HTC Desire HD
  • HTC Flyer
  • LG Revolution – Verizon (2.2)
  • Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY
  • Sony Ericsson Xperia ray
  • Sony Ericsson Xperia mini pro
  • Acer A5

Skype also fixed the bugs that were countered in the last version with the addition of the performance enhancements that improve the video calling service on the Android’s smartphones.
