Sanjay Jha – Motorola Mobility CEO has shows his interest to adopt Microsoft’s OS that will lead to the creation of the new devices based on the Microsoft’s Windows Phone platform. During the Oppenheimer technology and communications conference, Jha also mentioned that Motorola is also looking forward to signing a deal with Microsoft same like the Nokia-Microsoft deal.
At a time Motorola is behind both Samsung and LG in theUSmarket where it facing fall in its smartphone shares from 24% to 14%, also the net loss of the company in Q2 2011 was $56 million, despite a rise in mobile revenue.
“I think we’re completely open to the notion of Windows as a platform,” said Jha, although adding, “Clearly, all of our focus today is on Android.”
This statement clearly tells the story that in near future we can expect some of the Windows based devices from Motorola.
