Verizon Releases Update For Droid X

Droid XVerizon released a new software update include Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread for the users of the Motorola Droid X to address the issues they are currently facing. Droid X was one of the top selling smartphone of the time because of its cool features, but the problem arises in face of the bugs when users try to shift on the Android 2.3 (customized with Motorola’s Blur UI) from Android 2.2 (Froyo).

Users can download this 11MB update by going to Menu > Settings > About Phone > System updates to get rid of all the problems. Some of the prominent problems are: lag issues, rebooting and reduced battery life.

    Doing the update right now. I certainly hope it also fixes issues with losing 3G signal at random/odd times. We will see… fingers crossed!
