Symbian Anna Update Released By Nokia

Symbian Anna Nokia has released the Symbian Anna operating system (OS) update for the Nokia C6-01, C7, E7 and N8 smartphones. The new update is 27MB in size and it can be downloaded over the air or from the Nokia Ovi Suite. This update takes 20-25 minutes to install and at the time it is available for European and Asian markets.

Ilari Nurmi – Nokia’s VP said, “Symbian Anna represents a significant update to the experience those users have and demonstrates our ongoing commitment to Symbian, which will see up to 10 more phones introduced over the next 12 months, further updates to the user experience and support for the software until at least 2016.”

The Anna update brings a wide range of impressive features that include updated web browser, Calendar Photos, updated Nokia Maps, new social app, interface enhancements with new icons, virtual QWERTY keypad in portrait mode, split-screen text input, and stronger security.

According to the Nokia, the new update has more than 100 optimizations and bug fixes that will definitely improve the Nokia users’ experience.
