The “still missing” cross-game voice chat in the PS3 will always be “missing.” It’s impossible to add it as it was never available from the beginning and would need the OS to access more RAM. Well, allowing the OS to access more RAM this late in the game would mess with games that use all of the RAM already. Most likely breaking most games made before the OS update. This is the biggest reason for the PS Vita to have more RAM. The extra 128 MB will go towards voice chat, network services and possibly game design. As Sony is touting “PS3 porting of games to the Vita,” and “cross-game voice chat,” you’ll instantly understand the need for more RAM than the PS3.

Also, I think you made a mistake by saying “a quad-core ARM Cortex-A9, a SGX543MP4+ GPU, and a PowerVR SGX.” Are you saying there are two GPUs? I doubt there are two. I believe the PowerVR GPU is the SGX543MP4+.

Oh, and another: “5-inch OLED 16:9 capacitive multi-touchscreen with 960 x 544 resolution that is multi-touch capable too.”

    If it’s a multi-touchscreen, we already know it’s multi-touch capable.
