Panasonic Launches Toughpad FZ-A1 Tablet In Europe

Toughpad FZ-A1Panasonic has launched the Toughpad FZ-A1, a 10-inch tablet. This device is the first in its Toughpad family powered by Google’s Android operating system which has been designed for highly mobile outdoor workers in circumstances like aviation, construction, field service as well as public safety. Panasonic officials confirm it would include a 7-inch tablet to the Toughpad series in the second half of 2012.

The FZ-A1, was introduced Nov. 7, and it offers  a high brightness, along with 10.1-in XGA, and capacitive multitouch facility. It has incorporated a daylight-viewable screen accompanied by an anti-glare coating, an active digitizer that records pressure, direction and speed along with the signature. This feature has ensured the users better peace of mind with greater legal authority. In addition, users can replace the battery, to enjoy mid-life battery upgrades. This 10-in wide Toughpad will be sold in Europe during the spring of 2012 and its price will be around $1,175 for the standard model and $1,380 for the 3G model.
