Google Launches Google Music App To Enable Music Streaming Service

Google Music App for Google TV has been released to allow users play their Google Music collections. You can now play your favorite music in the background on your Google TV system while surfing the Web or access other applications on your TV. To enjoy this facility you must have the Honeycomb upgrade for Google TV.

The app arrives just one day subsequent to Google launched Google Music, which is the company’s streaming music service to let users buy and share some 13 million tracks from Universal Music, Sony Music and EMI Music.

The service comes with Google’s cloud, which enables users to play their favorite music across desktops as well as Android smartphones and tablets via cables or song downloads.

The Android-based Web TV service called Google TV brings the Chrome browser along with Web applications to user’s HDTVs, Google TV accentuates Google’s view that the TV is plainly another screen through which it can offer consumers its cloud-based services.
