Forthcoming iPad 3 Would Be Offering “QXGA” For Higher Resolution

The latest revelation has added to buzz that the iPad 3 will be released in March featuriong a fractionally thicker appearance along with a drastically higher resolution display.

Reporters have unveiled that in a list of devices in the latest iOS 5.1 software, ‘iPad3,3’ has been  mentioned, with additional references to the software calling for its ‘vendorID’, ‘deviceID’ plus other details.

In another place in the new code, a website is claiming a reference to iPad 2,4 possibly will be about a version of the existing iPad 2 with either a version of next-generation network LTE or WiMax technology.

It has been reported that Apple is working on two different prototypes for the iPad 3, and besides this the company is also looking into the possibility of a smaller 7.85” version as well.

Analyst Richard Shim told reporters that Samsung, Sharp and LGD are all trying to produce a high resolution screen similar to the 4S’s ‘retina display. He claims Apple forthcoming tablet would be a ground breaking device as it will bring QXGA, with a resolution of 2048×1536.
