Microsoft Corp. Makes Cloud Management Step On VMware

Microsoft Corp. VMwareMicrosoft is planning to reposition its System-Center-management suite for turning it to the central-management-console, not only for the Windows Server in data center of the enterprise, but also for the future workloads in on-premises cloud & Windows Azure cloud.

Consequently, it’s has regarded as the very next version. The System Center-2012 which is going to be implanted within the first half of 2012 is going to challenge the top systems management vendors HP, IBM, BMC Software, & CA Technologies. Besides, it is going to be a multipurpose, hybrid-cloud-system manager that is capable of shifting virtual machines from data center to the Windows Azure and back again.

Eventually, Microsoft is up to butting heads with the VMware that is currently mounting its challenge in systems management space. However, VMware has launched the vCenter Operations, with monitoring, management, configuration, and capacity management. Consequently, both Microsoft & VMware have agreed that the virtual machine management will be the key to data center operations as well as workload management in future.
