Anonymous Claims To Breach FBI, DOJ And Many Entertainment Sites

Anonymous Claims Breach FBI, DOJAnonymous, a recently evolved hacking group (or organization), revealed on Thursday that it breached the several U.S websites including FBI, Department of Justice, & some entertainment based industries’ sites for revenging the recently raised anti-piracy issues by U.S government as well as entertainment industry.  Anonymous claimed their cyber as the largest attack ever made employing about 5,635 participants for bringing down the websites mentioned above.

Besides FBI & DOJ, the websites of U.S. Recording Industry, U.S. Motion Picture Association, BMI.com, and Universal Music were reportedly attacked by the hacker group. DOJ has revealed in its statement: “The Justice Department’s web server hosting justice.gov is now experiencing a noticeable increase in activity yielding service degradation. The Justice Department is working hard to ensure availability of the website during the investigation of the origins of such activities that have been treated as malicious act as we haven’t yet identified completely the root cause behind the disruption.”
