Market Share Of Apple’s iPhone To Outpace Android

Market Share of iPhone Apple’s share of US smartphone market has been doubled to 44.9% in the fourth quarter of the last year, as revealed by a survey carried out by Kantar Worldpanel ComTech.

The company unveiled that Apple was underging a faster growth in comparison to the Android market in U.K., Australia & the U.S. based Dominic Sunnebo. On the other hand, global consumer insight director at Kantar commented on Apple’s tremendous growth: “To sum up, Apple sales are augmenting at a faster pace than that of Android across 9 countries we usually cover.”

The findings summarized that the Apple Inc. reportedly ensured a total sales of about 37.04 million iPhones during the 4th quarter of 2011.

Meanwhile, Tim Cook, the chief executive of Apple said, “During the 4th quarter of the last year, we made an appreciable effort, as we were running out of supply and could withstand the backlog quite significantly.”
