Google+ Open For TeenagersGoogle is thoroughly scrutinizing its strategy regarding consumer privacy and it has said on Thursday that it would allow teenagers to use Google+, the social networking site of the company. For doing so Google followed Facebook & MySpace.

Google’s move has appeared as some privacy advocates & the lawmakers have been seeking online protections for teenagers, particularly on the social networking sites where they freely share their information. From March 1, Google will monitor its users’ activities while they browse the sites, including YouTube, Gmail & even the main search page. The company claimed that the changes are applicable only for the users signed into their accounts.

The new policy includes complete monitoring of the surfing across Google’s websites by the teenagers. Consequently all information will be accumulated for forming a cohesive portrait of their activities.

“Google+has taken revolutionary decision of helping teens in build meaningful & constructive online connections,” said Bradley Horowitz, the vice president of Google, in a blog post.
