Samsung 10.1 Tablet To Be Out Of Stores In Germany

It is really bad time for Samsung in Germany as the Higher Regional Court in Dusseldorf has agreed to pass the injunction against the sale of Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 in the German market. The complaint against Samsung is that they have violated certain norms of German anti-competition statute.

Making the judgment, judge Joahnna said that there are many similarities between iPad from Apple and the Galaxy Tab 10.1 from Samsung. Under this judgment, Samsung will not be able to sell the tablet in Germany till the court order is valid. Apple authorities seemed to be quite happy seeing the rulings of the court. Samsung officials said that with this judgment, customer choice became very much limited in Germany.

This same judgment was given by the lower court a few months back. The Samsung authorities were confident that they will be able to come out of the crisis and hence they filed an application in the Higher Court. But unfortunately, the Higher Court also held the same injunction as passed by the lower court.
